LTC transferred from the English department in 2008, a move motivated by both programs' desire to expand its curricula and brand an identity that aligned with UNT's goal of becoming a premiere research institution.

Our main office is located in Auditorium room 317. It is generally open 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday during the academic year. The department is closed for University holidays and intermittently for errands. Click here for a map of the UNT campus.

Technical Communication Lab Staff

The Technical Communication Lab (TCL) is a teaching lab reserved for students taking technical writing courses. The TCL staff are specially trained to help students learn word-processing and graphics applications used to produce technical and business documents.
